Been coming here since my son was 8 years. We didn't come last year because I never got one of those friendly reminder cards to come and see them. So when I called this year to schedule an appointment the first thing I asked them was do we still have coverage with you she said yes. When I asked her about the reminder cards she said that they were understaffed and didn't mail them out. So no big, I went ahead and made an appointment for my son and myself. Now we're here at the appointment and when we got here they wouldn't open the door saying that they were " cleaning"". Thing is they were supposed to be open at 10. Does it take an hour to clean? Why couldn't we wait in the waiting area? When I got here 10 minutes to 11:00 the door was locked. They had an elderly woman with a walker standing outside in the rain. And when I knocked on the door she asked what time is my appointment, I said 11:00 she said it's not yet 11:00 and kept the door locked. The staff finally opened the door a few minutes after 11:00. They then took my son in, did his X-rays and told me that the doctor is coming in late and that I would have to wait for the doctor. The doctor just showed up at 20 minutes later.
The quality of service for this particular doctor's office has diminished over the years and it's rude. For a company to always believe that their customers and their clients should just continuously wait without a specific window is completely dismissive of their clientele and demeaning to the customers time and importance.

Dr.Yatzani had been my dentist since I was a kid , I moved states and had a dental emergency and he made me feel like his 1st priority and gave me his soonest available appointment I couldn't be happier with the result it was fast and painless. The receptionist Maria was so kind and reassured me everything will be fine and made sure I was taking care of for someone who is scared of the dentist this made me feel more welcomed?

I've been going to this office for 10+ years and have nothing but great things to say about the office, staff, and doctors. They are very compassionate and actually care to give you the best quality treatment. This is something very hard to come by in the current day and age. I've always felt very comfortable with the staff and the attention to detail goes a long way.

This is my assigned dentist with my insurance company. They are difficult to get any dental work done, even something as simple as making an appointment has multiple hoops (have to confirm with billing). I have been trying to schedule a cleaning for 3 months. Had they not already completed my x-rays and dental plan I would switch (but at this point may do anyway). It is a shame too because the dentist seems to be good, when you get to see him.

Update: I tried to get work done here, but found it impossible to get things scheduled. They would work to get pre-authorizations for everything, including a cleaning. But according to my insurance, they don't need to because they already have a breakdown of all costs provided by the insurance. This caused it to take 4 months to schedule a cleaning. I also both times they were getting pre-authorizations had to contact my insurance for help and have them call the dental office to provide guidance. I was planning to get a bunch of crowns done, but when I told them I wanted porcelain crowns because they are covered by my insurance, they quit returning my call. What a complete waste of six months. Honestly I think this is some kind of billing scheme to get more pay. I really liked the dentist but the office staff is impossible to work with. Watch out and review all charges with your insurance!

We were assigned this practice by our insurance provider so we called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. So much so that we decided to call our insurance to change to another practice. I don't know how the rest of the practice is, or how good the doctors actually are. The receptionist is the face of the business and is the first impression the clients will interact with. Unfortunately, she is horrible and did not represent the practice very well.

My wedding day was just 3 weeks away and it had been at least 10 years since I been to a dentist ( I know, that’s a very long time?).
I didn’t expect for the staff to be so sweet and the doctor even sweeter. This place is organized and professional. By the third visit my smile was already looking so much better. I was received without any judgment and could not be more grateful. I get to exchange my vowels this weekend feeling more confident thanks to Alhambra Garfield Dental.

The dentist seems friendly. He examined my kids quickly and fixed my daughter's filling quickly (in 10 minutes). My son didn't even get an x-ray but he claimed that he needed 4 fillings, which to me is whatever since he's the expert. I'm going to get a second opinion. We also saw a previous dentist not too long ago so I'm not sure why the difference in opinions.

The receptionist is horrible (one of them). She has glasses I believe and is arrogant and lazy. My son has autism and is qualified for Medi-cal insurance as secondary insurance and we have DeltaCare Dental as our primary insurance. I told her that Medi-cal should be able to cover what wasn't covered by my primary insurance. She kept "lecturing" me about how it doesn't work that way since dentists are only allowed to take one insurance. Because of this, I had to consult my friends under the same circumstance as me and called the Medi-cal to confirm this. I then 3-way called the receptionist with Medi-cal and they confirmed that my son is eligible for coverage for whatever wasn't covered in my primary insurance. The receptionist then said she will apply to get authorization.

I called back a few weeks later to see what the status was and she said that she hadn't heard back. I thanked her and said that I would call back again in a few weeks. I called back again to see what the status was and she gave the phone to someone else and back to square one. The person on the phone explained to me that they are only able to take one insurance and she claimed that DeltaCare is under Medi-cal. I told her that DeltaCare is my primary insurance.

Anyway, the receptionists don't know what they are doing and just because they speak loudly, doesn't mean they are right. She didn't bother to update me or find out how the system works. I feel like they discriminated against my son because of his disability even though they claimed to work well with people with disabilities. They just wanted to bypass the insurance system and get the cash from me. I am finding other dentists that will better accommodate us.

If you have kids with disability, please do not go here. It will give you a lot of anxiety.
