Just moved here and chose this place to take care of my baby. I went to 3 other places before I chose this as the best!! They really care about your pets, wait times aren't bad, and I also so appreciate that they are reasonably priced. I saw another review about somebody saying they tell everybody your dog has allergies, truth is in Florida most dogs have allergies, they have helped me with a more natural way to take care of him with the allergies, so I don't know what she was talking about making you come back once a month for things that will make your pet worse. I love Poinciana Pet Clinic, always a positive experience, staff is awesome, my pet always feel welcome, my little friend has a thyroid problem and he is treated with respect his medication are on time, every time my little baby arrive to the clinic he is welcome and received by his name and all staff and Doctors are amazing!! TL;DR - great place, super clean and not run like a cattle mill. Only slight negatives: getting ahold of them by phone can be hard (you’ll most likely have to leave a message), and the older lady that’s the receptionist can be a bit brisk at times. Everyone else is super friendly though!

All the details:
We brought our cats here a few weeks ago for check ups since one had what sounded like asthma or a cold. The vet techs were very friendly and the senior vet on staff was really easy going and friendly as well. We really liked that he had extensive experience as a vet and he accurately deduced what was going on with both cats pretty quickly (we did some bloodwork on one just to make sure though). My girl cat can often be hard to handle but the staff there had no issues with her due to their gentle and very calm, positive energy while handling her. The prices were pretty low, however the bloodwork was a bit high, but it’s bloodwork sent to a lab so I get it. One thing that really stood out to me every time I visited was they didn’t book a ton of people all day. The most I ever saw waiting to be seen were 2 people, so it was quite a relief to finally see a vet office that was not being run like a cattle mill. Also, no fleas and super clean! Overall, I recommend giving this place a try if you need a vet.

Pretty expensive and not able to properly diagnose. Front desk is nice, though. First time in and I heard 3 different patients had "allergies". My pet was also told they had allergies and her scabies issue was ignored. If you're told your pet has allergies get a second opinion. This is probably to get you to come in once or twice a month for medication that may make your pet sick with something else (like diabetes which will then need lifelong medication) in the long run. Don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. Sorry.
