Very very happy with how the staff were with my Nova. Nova is a husky that gets very nervous at vet offices, and she hates strangers touching her. They worked really patiently with her and she ended up liking them a lot from what I could tell. The staff were also very upfront with all of the costs, and didnt pressure me at all.

Definitely coming back!

I’ve always faced an extensive wait here. On top of that, nobody seems to bother to read up on your pet before seeing them. I’m currently dealing with enormous medical bills from a different hospital because of the poor handling of my dog during a simple vaccination appointment. If they had bothered to check his records or had any knowledge about dachshunds, they would have known about his back sensitivity. I caution all special needs dog owners about this place. They are not well organized and they are more willing to cover their asses than properly prepare for the animals they’re seeing. Not to mention the inconsistencies in their billing. I will not be returning here, and I will be filing a complaint with their board. If that makes me a Karen, so be it. They’re lucky I don’t have the money to sue.

Besides being my pups regular vet, my dog had managed to make three emergency visits to Bushwick Veterinary in the past few years. Each time they were able to make reasonable accommodations for our dog, took care of the issue, and in the end were reasonably priced. The staff here is wonderful - knowledgeable and competent. The vets clearly talk you through their train of thought and the techs are all very nice (i.e., good with pets) and skilled. They do a great job of informing me when vaccinations and routine care is due.

We love the Bushwick Veterinary Center & Dr Taie!
We've had great experiences each time; our animals have always had great compassionate care. We get a clear understanding & price of each service /procedure / vaccine / medicine and are given a choice of approving it or denying it (wish this was the case for human care!). The prices are reasonable, and everyone is nice. Our cats get churu when they get medicine/vaccines to keep the distracted and happy.
We visited the vet quite a few times with our street adopted cat Blaze at the beginning of having him, and he recognizes that this is a place that helps him and is not afraid - says a lot from a cat! We also bring our other cat Sequoyah.

I absolutely love this place! Will be returning. All the staff are very kind and show love and appreciation for the pets. Especially the doctor, the doctor did not only check my guinea pig but also gave us some recommendations on how to improve his overall health and explained about how to give him a better diet! Really worth going
