I recently had to visit Veterinary Emergency Group in Hoboken with my dog Titan. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by the staff’s professionalism and compassion. The receptionist greeted us warmly, ensuring we were quickly checked in despite the busy waiting room. The doctor was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the situation thoroughly. They made sure I understood the procedure for removing the mass and cyst, addressing all my concerns with patience and empathy. Their expertise was evident, and I felt confident in their ability to care for my pet. During the procedure, I appreciated that they kept me updated on my dog’s status, which really eased my anxiety. The facility was clean and well-equipped, which reassured me about the care my dog was receiving. Post-removal, the vet provided clear instructions for at-home care and answered all my questions. I left feeling grateful and relieved, knowing my furry friend was in good hands. I highly recommend this emergency vet for anyone facing a similar situation. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor, he was amazing very truthful very transparent , was both a comfort to my family and my dog ! The whole team really pushed to help with Luna (my dog in labor) in all three aspects (medical , emotional, and most of all financial) . I mean they even help me feel better with a still birth. I watched everyone rush into the room with urgency to save the pups life when others wouldn’t have gone so far. So I can’t express how thank full I am I would def rec other to come to DR. BLake .

My dog, Benny, ate some pills that were more toxic than the plush toy shown in the photo below. Dr. Rivera and Dr. Perez and the whole VEG team were professional, super-helpful, caring and saw my dog very quickly. I also love that when you call, you’re always able to speak with a vet.

Based on what my dog ate, VEG suggested that I called the ASPCA poison control line, which was an excellent resource and recommended that I bring him in.

By far the hardest decision I had to make. My baby stewie 17years of love , joy and happiness he brought to my family and I.

Thank you for everyone at veg who did an amazing job. I want to thank Selene for being so gentle with my baby boy who kept moving as she was putting in his catheter. She patience and was great.

Jasmine was amazing who checked me in told me that any question I had I can speak to the doctors and she prepared a comfort room for me and my son. she was very attentive her words were so sweet. She offered us water brought us tissues because we were so emotional. She even gave us fur to take as memory. She also did a nose print and paw print she was beyond amazing perfect person to help with a sad moment.

As for dr. Blake he was great very informative. Explain everything so well and made my day a little better. Great employees the deserve to be told how great they are. Thank you veg for all that those 3 amazing individuals did for me and my family.
